The decay of our civilization marks the arrival of a new dark age. There is little individuals can do about this social collapse other than try and salvage the accumulated knowledge of the ages. Humanity did save some of the knowledge of the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations to the benefit of our civilization, so there appears reason to believe some of the learning of Western Civilization may be saved for a future civilization.
